Erise IP is pleased to announce the firm has elevated Denver attorney Paul Hart to partner. With the move, the intellectual property law boutique grows its number of partners to nine between its Overland Park, Kansas, headquarters and Denver office.

Hart served as an Erise associate attorney before his move to partner status.

Hart has more than a decade of IP law experience, and his current practice focuses on complex patent and copyright litigation. He has participated in all stages of patent litigation, from pre-filing investigation through trial. He has developed case strategies, handled oral arguments, engaged in successful motion practice, managed all aspects of discovery, and taken numerous depositions. His cases have involved a wide variety of technologies, including navigation technologies, video game technologies, telephony, medical devices, and various other electrical and software technologies.

Prior to his legal career, Hart was a design engineer and developed novel nanotechnology devices and applications. He is also a named inventor on five patents. Hart earned his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Florida.
