Jury Rules in Favor of Erise IP Client Sandvine in Packet Intelligence Trial

Erise IP won a landmark jury trial today, Nov. 9, on behalf of their client Sandvine in a patent infringement case filed by Packet Intelligence.

Packet Intelligence demanded $14 million from Sandvine in the suit, and the Eastern District of Texas jury ruled in favor of Sandvine with its noninfringement verdict. The decision is momentous, especially because it comes less than a month after Packet Intelligence won a jury verdict on the very same patents against NetScout – the jury awarded Packet Intelligence $5.75 million in damages in the Oct. 13 decision.

Sandvine, a broadband network equipment company, was led by Erise partner Eric Buresh.
