Erise IP is pleased to welcome attorney Albert Harris III to the firm’s team as an associate. Harris’ sharp technical skills in areas including computer science and engineering are a natural fit within the Erise IP team and will bring added value to the firm’s clients.

Harris’ intellectual property law experience spans patent prosecution, infringement litigation, offensive/defensive review, and patent search and acquisition projects. His experience also includes designing control systems and communications systems for autonomous robotic systems, self-organizing autonomous systems and autopilot systems.

“Al’s knowledge and experience not only enhances our ability to serve our clients but also adds tremendous value to the firm as a whole,” said Adam Seitz, shareholder and co-founder of Erise IP. “We are excited to have him join our firm.”

Previously, Harris was an associate in private practice. He received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his doctorate in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

He is admitted to practice before the state courts of Missouri, and he is also registered before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
