The 2025 edition of Best Law Firms once again recognized Erise as Tier 1 for Litigation: Intellectual Property and also gave the firm two new top-tier rankings, for Litigation – Patent and Patent Law.
Best Law Firms honors outstanding law firms in jurisdictions and practice areas nationwide. Rankings are based on a combination of client feedback, market surveys and peer review.
This is the latest recognition of the firm’s litigation capabilities; earlier this year, Managing IP honored Erise with a national ranking for litigation at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), calling Erise a “destination firm for PTAB proceedings.” Also this year, Patexia’s independent review placed Erise among the best performing patent defense and overall best performing patent litigation firms in the U.S., ranking it within the Top 2.4% of all law firms representing defendants and top 2.6% overall. In addition, Erise’s Eric Buresh was ranked among the Top 0.9% of patent defense attorneys in the U.S.
Erise is also a leader on the prosecution side as well: A new report from Patexia found Erise ranked among the top 4 percent of U.S. patent prosecution firms in the high-tech category.
