Ben’s intellectual property practice focuses on patent litigation. He enjoys analyzing complex technologies, especially in the electrical engineering and computer engineering space, and uses his findings to create winning trial and post-grant review strategies for plaintiffs and defendants.
A licensed Professional Engineer, Ben was an electrical engineer for a world-wide engineering firm, where he designed electrical power distribution and control systems for petrochemical facilities, and was responsible for multiple million-dollar design and construction projects. He also interned for two Fortune 500 oil and gas companies while an undergraduate.
Ben earned a Master of Business Administration degree while working as an engineer, then entered law school. His legal background also includes a corporate counsel internship for a healthcare IT company.
