Erise IP Expands Patent Litigation Practice with Key Lateral Hire

//

As reported in the Kansas City Business Journal, Erise IP is pleased to announce that Mark McGrory has joined the firm as Of Counsel in a strategic move to continue growing the firm’s practice, which has nearly tripled in size since its launch three years ago.

As a former senior in-house attorney with Sprint, McGrory’s work in private practice has focused on representing industry leaders, including a major telecom carrier, in numerous patent litigation matters. His work has resulted in a string of victories for the telecom carrier in the Eastern District of Texas, as well as successfully representing a large cable company in patent litigation in the Southern District of New York and the District of Delaware.

“Not only is Mark a highly skilled litigator, he also has a strong understanding of how to efficiently attack patent cases in today’s anti-patent troll environment,” said Adam Seitz, co-founder and shareholder of Erise IP. “For these reasons, I’m confident that Mark will be a major player in the future growth of Erise IP.”

McGrory will continue to represent Sprint in its IP matters and plans to work with the firm on expanding its practice into new developing areas for IP litigation.
