Erise IP led Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC and its PlayStation gaming systems to victory in 7 different IPR petitions, three of which were highlighted by Law360. These petitions were filed against 5 patents owned by Aplix and challenged over 100 total claims. Law360 featured stories on three of these petitions, all of which resulted in complete wins for Sony. These petitions represent a significant victory as they resulted in a 100% institution rate on over 100 challenged claims for 5 different patents and a 100% victory from the PTAB on all challenged claims.
