Erise Renews Mansfield Rule Certification, Listed Among Diversity Lab’s “Trendsetters”

//

Erise was named a “Trendsetter” by the Diversity Lab for its work within the Mansfield Rule Certification program and for its continuing commitment to the program in 2024-2025.

The Mansfield Rule – named for the first woman lawyer in the United States, Arabella Mansfield – is a structured certification process administered by Diversity Lab that is designed to ensure all talent at participating law firms has a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership.

“We are experiencing firsthand that law firm leaders don’t just say they value DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), they are taking measurable actions to ensure leadership opportunities are more inclusive. They are opening the door wider,” said Alyssa Jarvis, Director of Mansfield & Strategic Innovations at Diversity Lab.

For Erise, its commitment to diversity is more than just talk. Since its founding, Erise has been committed to diversity through its ranks, even at the highest levels. While fewer than a quarter of law firm equity partners nationwide are women, Erise’s equity partner ranks are nearly 60% women. This has led to Erise being recognized two years in a row among Law360’s “Ceiling Smashers,” law firms with the best representation of women in leadership.
