Caroline focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation and trademarks. Erise’s clients benefit from her sharp eye for detail and keen interest in brands and how consumers interact with them. Since joining Erise, Caroline has assisted Erise’s global trademark clients with clearance of their most important marks, as well as enforcement of their valuable IP.
Her previous trademark experience includes monitoring the U.S. Department of Energy’s portfolio while interning in the Department’s technology transfer office. During law school, Caroline helped startup clients with no legal background obtain trademarks by conducting clearance searches and preparing applications.
In the litigation context, Caroline helps collaborate on trial narratives by spotting issues and offering a fresh perspective. Her experience as an undergraduate research assistant, where she performed behavioral and hormonal analyses on Siberian hamsters, taught her how to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly pivot strategies based on new findings and evidence.
