Erin is a paralegal with 30 years of legal experience spanning real estate, children’s rights, criminal defense, civil defense, and nonprofit work. She began her legal career in Des Moines while completing her paralegal certificate, then built a broad foundation through roles supporting attorneys in a variety of practice areas before eventually finding her way to trademark law. At Erise, Erin supports trademark matters and enjoys the fast pace of the work, as well as the constant opportunity to learn. She finds it especially rewarding to help guide matters through to final registration for clients.

Erin thrives behind the scenes, keeping moving parts in order and bringing structure to what she calls the “organized chaos” of legal practice. Known for her calm demeanor, positive attitude, and flexibility, she helps keep matters on track during stressful moments and can quickly pivot to meet deadlines and client needs.
