Kevin is a bilingual mechanical engineer who applies his technical experience to the product and patent issues clients face. He primarily focuses on research and writing that supports Erise’s attorneys in their inter partes review (IPR) petitions and hearings. Kevin believes in meticulously searching for the best prior art, which opens the door to crafting narratives that lead to success for clients. In addition to IPRs, Kevin also supports litigation preparation through invalidity and noninfringement analysis.

Kevin’s experience includes telecommunications and mobile device technologies, including wireless communication standards, fiber optic cables, antennas, Bluetooth and wireless connectivity, speech recognition, power management, and LED screens. His experience also extends to cybersecurity, computer systems and design, materials science, and machine design and testing.

A former undergraduate instructor, Kevin credits his time teaching for his ability to explain difficult and complex subjects with clarity. He also draws on his study of literature and Spanish to draft clear, concise, and effective technical documents.
