Erise IP was included in the Law360 analysis, “Law360 Ranks The Busiest Patent Practices.”
A Sept. 28 Law360 article published a list of the “Busiest Patent Defense Firms,” and Erise IP tied for No. 61 on the list, which highlighted more than 120 firms. The report highlighted firms “that picked up the lion’s share of new litigation work in the first half of 2015.”
Law 360’s methodology for the midyear report focused on the most hired law firms and examined representations in cases filed between Jan. 1 and June 30, 2015, using raw data from Public Access to Court Electronic Records (PACER), which was then filtered by Law360’s docket tracking systems and reviewed byLaw360 staff.
“All of the firms in the top ranks of Law360’s list of busy patent defense firms warn the frenetic pace of patent litigation in 2015 is unlikely to wane over the remainder of the year, as patent plaintiffs return to courthouses with renewed vigor after a very brief summertime lull,” the report stated.
