Erise Joins the Diversity Lab’s Midsize Mansfield Rule

Erise is excited to announce that it has joined the 2022-2023 Midsize Mansfield Rule cohort. This program is pioneering a new iteration of the Mansfield Rule developed specifically for firms with less than 150 lawyers. Modeled after the large-firm version, this new iteration of the Mansfield Rule is specifically designed to boost diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in firms with less than 150 attorneys.

The mission of the Mansfield Rule – named for the first U.S. woman lawyer, Arabella Mansfield – is to increase the representation of diverse lawyers in leadership by broadening the pool of diverse lawyers who are considered for entry-level and lateral attorney job openings, leadership opportunities, equity partner promotions, and opportunities to connect with clients.

Over the next 18 months, Erise will join 67 other law firms to work toward Mansfield Rule certification. Criteria and additional information on the Mansfield Rule are available here.
