Erise Achieves Another Sony PTAB Win

//

Erise IP recently landed another victory for Sony in a lawsuit accusing the company’s gaming systems of patent infringement. In two decisions dated June 20th, the PTAB (Patent Trial and Appeal Board) ruled in favor of Sony and invalidated another patent related to hand-held devices owned by Aplix IP Holdings Corp. Aplix had accused Sony of infringing on the patent. To date, all challenged claims of the asserted patents (or 84 total claims) have been invalidated.

Erise partners Eric Buresh and Abran Kean as well as Senior Technical Advisor Callie Pendergrass represented Sony.
