Erise’s practice at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) continues to be a national leader, according to the latest findings from Patexia, an independent research platform.
Out of nearly 3,500 attorneys analyzed by Patexia, Erise shareholders Adam Seitz, Paul Hart, and Jennifer Bailey were rated among the top 2.5% in the country representing inter partes review (IPR) petitioners at the PTAB. In particular, Adam was ranked fifth-best in the nation representing IPR petitioners and 15th best performing attorney overall, placing him in the top quarter of the 99th percentile in both categories. As a firm, Erise was ranked in the top 3.3% of the best performing law firms at the PTAB.
Patexia’s 2024 PTAB Intelligence Report covers a five-year study period from July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2024, covering thousands of cases, law firms, and practitioners.
Beyond its PTAB success, Erise stands among the nation’s best law firms in patent litigation and prosecution as well. Previously, Patexia ranked Erise among the Top 100 best performing patent defense and overall best performing patent litigation firms in the U.S., placing it within the Top 2.4% of all law firms representing defendants and top 2.6% overall.
