As a part of its annual analysis of women in the legal profession, Law360 included Erise on its Ceiling Smashers list of the law firms with the highest representation of women in equity partnership.
Specifically, Erise, for the third straight year, ranks among the top 10 for law firms with 100 or fewer attorneys.
“Although women make up around 41% of all lawyers, they hold just over a quarter of equity partner positions across the industry,” Law360 wrote. “Despite the broader industry challenges, the firms [on the] Ceiling Smashers list are demonstrating that strides towards gender parity in the upper ranks are possible.”
Since its founding, Erise has been committed to diversity through its ranks, even at the highest levels. Erise’s equity partner ranks are nearly 60% women.
In addition to the Law360 honor, Erise was recently named a “Trendsetter” by the Diversity Lab for its work within the Mansfield Rule Certification program and for its continuing commitment to the program in 2024-2025. The Mansfield Rule – named for the first woman lawyer in the United States, Arabella Mansfield – is a structured certification process administered by Diversity Lab that is designed to ensure all talent at participating law firms has a fair and equal opportunity to advance into leadership.
