Judge Issues Show Cause Order Against Plaintiff

In a recent ruling, a Texas federal judge not only dismissed indirect infringement claims in a case in which Erise IP represents 10 of 13 co-defendants, but also, on his own and without a request from the parties, issued a “show cause” order against the plaintiff to present argument as to whether the plaintiff had violated his duties under Rule 11.
