Erise IP Partner Michelle Marriott earned a spot in the Kansas City Business Journal’s 2018 Best of the Bar.
Marriott is one of 56 attorneys selected to this year’s list. She will be recognized on Oct. 25 at the Carriage Club. A profile on Marriott will be published on Oct. 26.
Two years ago, the Kansas City Business Journal updated its Best of the Bar program. Previously, lawyers had to be nominated by other lawyers, and the list of honorees was substantially longer. Now, attorneys have to apply, and then a panel of five judges selects the honorees, who must be engaged in private legal practice within the Kansas City metropolitan area and must have at least 10 years of professional practice.
