Michelle Marriott Earns National Law Journal ‘IP Trailblazer’ Honor

The National Law Journal named Erise IP Partner Michelle Marriott as a 2018 “Intellectual Property Trailblazer.”

In announcing the honorees, the NLJ stated that of the hundreds of nominations it received for the honor, Marriott and the others in the class were selected because “each has shown a deep passion and perseverance in pursuit of their mission, having achieved remarkable successes along the way.”

The NLJ feature on Marriott highlighted her work successfully defending video game makers including Sega and Ubisoft against patent infringement claims in high-stakes cases.

“Marriott focuses on developing creative strategies to succeed where others have failed,” the NLJ said.
