Erise IP Partner Michelle Marriott has been named an “Influential Lawyer” in the 2018 Missouri Lawyers Awards – an attorney recognition program from Missouri Lawyers Weekly.
The award, according to the publication, honors “the newsmakers, those Missouri lawyers who made substantial contributions to the legal community.”
In recognizing Marriott, Missouri Lawyers highlighted that she recently represented video game makers including Sega and Ubisoft in their defeat of Uniloc. Of the case, Missouri Lawyers said Marriott “won a significant ruling that invalidated a patent that once bedeviled Microsoft.”
Marriott’s accomplishments will be honored during the Missouri Lawyers Awards luncheon on Jan. 26 in St. Louis and highlighted in a special section of Missouri Lawyers Weekly on Jan. 22.
