Erise has added another string of accolades that bolster its status as one of the top intellectual property law firms in the country.
Patexia, an independent research platform, honored Erise among its best performing patent litigation law firms in several categories of its annual report. Most importantly, Patexia reviewed the merits of each litigation to determine how well a law firm was performing.
In this merits based analysis, Patexia’s analysis found that Erise was ranked in the Top 15 of the best performing patent defense firms in the U.S., placing it within the Top 0.5% of all law firms.
In addition, Erise’s Eric Buresh ranked in the Top 0.2% as the 52nd most active attorney representing defendants in patent litigation out of 11,581 in the country. Erise has secured five consecutive patent defense verdicts for clients since 2019, and last year it was ranked by Patexia in the Top 1% for its winning IPR results at the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Earlier this month, Erise was one of five law firms selected as a 2022 “Practice Group of the Year” for intellectual property by Law360, honoring not only the firm’s documented patent litigation success, but also its patent and trademark prosecution and management expertise that protects some of the most valuable brands in the world.
