Erise Shareholder Jennifer Bailey has been named to the PTAB Bar Association’s Top 50 Women in PTAB Trials list for the second time.
The list recognizes the 50 most active female practitioners before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board. This year’s compilation spans 2012 through August 2021. Reporting on the list, Law360 noted that women make up just 12 percent of the attorneys at the PTAB.
Having completed 89 total proceedings, Bailey is a national leader for PTAB activity. Indeed, in November 2021, Patexia listed her among the top 100 attorneys at the PTAB for both “most active” and “best performing.”
The leader of Erise’s patent prosecution group, Bailey focuses her practice in post-grant review of patents and patent prosecution in the electrical, computer software, and electromechanical arts. She was lead counsel on the first-ever-filed inter partes review (IPR) and regularly serves as lead counsel on IPRs/PGRs representing both petitioners and patent owners.
