Erise is pleased to announce it has been ranked among the best IP law firms in the United States in Patexia’s 2021 IPR Intelligence Report and CAFC Intelligence Report, which covers the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

With thousands of firms and attorneys being analyzed, Erise ranked in the top 7% of all firms at the federal circuit and top 1.3% of all firms at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). Two of Erise’s attorneys – shareholders Eric Buresh and Adam Seitz – were also ranked within the top 2% of all attorneys at the PTAB.

Specifically, Erise was recognized as 13th in the top 100 most active law firms for petitioners at the PTAB. This activity led the firm to being ranked as the 26th best performing firm overall. Erise was also ranked the 54th most active law firm at the federal circuit.

On an individual basis, in the IPR Intelligence Report, shareholders Seitz, Buresh, and Jennifer Bailey were ranked in the top 100 for both “most active” and “best performing” attorneys at the PTAB when representing petitioners. Shareholders Seitz, Bailey, and Paul Hart were also ranked in the Top 100 for best performing attorneys for their work with both petitioners and patent owners.

In the CAFC Intelligence Report, shareholders Bailey and Seitz were both recognized in the top 100 best performing attorneys at the federal circuit, while Buresh was recognized as one of the top 100 most active attorneys at the federal circuit.
