Patexia Names Buresh, Marriott and Redmond Among Best Performing Patent Litigation Attorneys

Shareholders Eric Buresh, Michelle Marriott and Megan Redmond have been recognized among the nation’s top patent litigation attorneys by Patexia, a research platform and network for intellectual property law.

In its Most Active and Best Performing Patent Litigators for 2022, Patexia evaluated 14,685 litigators that were active in at least one of the 14,506 district court patent cases filed from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2021. This trio – all founders of Erise – placed highly:

  • Buresh ranked No. 89 in the Top 100 Most Active Patent Attorneys, placing him within the top 1 percent of attorneys in the U.S. 
  • Redmond ranked No. 66 in the Best Performing Patent Litigators for defense litigation, another top 1 percent showing. 
  • Marriott ranked No. 141 for her activity on the defense side of patent litigation, which puts her in the top 5 percent of attorneys in the U.S.

In previous studies, Patexia has honored Erise as a best performing patent litigation firm, top performer at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and a leading firm for inter partes review (IPR) proceedings.
