Erise and shareholders Jennifer Bailey, Eric Buresh, Michelle Marriott, Megan Redmond, and Adam Seitz are included in the 2024 edition of the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals

The Patent 1000, published annually by Law Business Research, honors the world’s leading patent law firms and individuals.

IAM says Erise’s clients consider it to be “one of the world’s top IP firms” and calls Erise “an extremely skilled boutique law practice with assertive, highly competent, business-oriented lawyers that are focused on delivering results within budgetary guidelines and constraints.”

Eric, Michelle, Megan, and Adam were recommended for litigation. IAM calls Adam “one of the nation’s premier patent litigators” and Megan “a skilful trial lawyer working across a range of patent technology areas.” Michelle was praised by clients for being “incredibly easy to work with – aggressive, competent and efficient,” and IAM highlighted Eric’s high rates of success in court and expertise across multiple industries.

Jennifer, who leads Erise’s patent prosecution group, was recommended for prosecution, with IAM calling her “highly skilled at building patent portfolios to add business value to companies and working as a partner to ensure the best possible scope of patent protection within budget constraints.”
IAM uses qualitative research, including interviews and written submissions, to select top firms and individuals. More information about the methodology is available here.
