Law360’s Practice Group of the Year awards, in their 13th year, “honor the attorney teams behind litigation wins and major deals that resonated throughout the legal industry … with an eye toward landmark matters and general excellence.” Nearly 900 practice groups were submitted for this year’s awards, and Law360 honored only five firms in the IP space for its coveted Practice Group of the Year award.
Not only has Erise secured five consecutive patent defense verdicts for clients since 2019, it is ranked by Patexia in the top 1 percent for its winning IPR results at the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Shareholders Adam Seitz, Jennifer Bailey, Eric Buresh and Paul Hart are among the nation’s most successful and active attorneys at the PTAB.
Last fall, Buresh was recognized by Law360 as one five IP attorneys nationwide in its 2022 “MVPs of the Year” awards, citing his “numerous victories over the past year,” including defense verdicts for Sony and NetScout for trials in the notoriously difficult Eastern District of Texas.
Also last year, Law360 included Erise among its Ceiling Smashers list of the law firms with the highest representation of women in equity partnership. The firm is 50/50 gender diverse in its equity partnership ranks.
